Description
Sonny Rollins "Saxophone colossus" on Prestige (PRLP 7079),-1956, Original US-pressing with "rvg" and"AB" in dead wax, both sides.
Cover: VG- (ringwear, edgewear, sobc, almost complete bottom split)
Vinyl : VG+ (has hairlines but plays VERY close to EX)
My grades:
SS :Still unopened in shrinkwrap,rarely seen.
M- :As new….Cover has no cut outs, saw marks or any other shortcomings.I rarely grade records here.
EX :Hairlines and maybe some marks on label other than that almost perfect.No backround noice.Cover has no shortcomings.
VG+ :Visible and/not audible marks, if they do make some noice it will still be a VERY nice copy.Cover has minor ringwear,soc,woc and so on.
VG :Visible and audible marks between/in tracks but certainly not overpowering the music.Cover has seam minor split,ringwear and so on.
VG- :Pretty beat up record…no skips but some disturbing noice will be heard here….. Cover has large seam splits,heavy edgewear and ringwear.
G+ :No skips but this copy may very well be worth it only because of the cover? Cover: see above and increase......
