Sonny Rollins - The Bridge, a 1962 UK 1st Press Stereo copy released on the RCA Victor black Living Stereo label, no SF-7504
Degritter cleaned, the vinyl has retained a wonderful glossy lustre. There is a small mark on Side 2 with a faint scuff mark on Side 1, neither make any real impact to playback ( see notes below) Clean labels and spindle holes - graded EX
Playtest reveals a superb sound as is typical of Living Stereo pressings of the day, clear and clean with immediacy and presence. Great detail and depth. It plays through beautifully with no jumping or sticking, a couple of clicks as it plays through the Side 2 mark, but otherwise no issues.
The flipback laminate sleeve is clean & solid overall with mild discolouration to the spine area plus the usual age related corner rubbing. Some wear/damage to the bottom flipback ( see photos) Mild ringwear and a small area of laminate lift near the top edge. There are dates written in ink to the rear track listings (see photos)
No stains, tears or tape repairs.
The original heavyweight Emitex type inner sleeve is present & is still doing a great job!
Record will be sent separated out to prevent transit splits.
