Description
Mega Rare LP of Sonny Rollins - Tenor Madness (Prestige 7047 - mono) 1950s yellow and black labels with Bergenfield NJ address, Deep Groove and RVG on both sides. One of Rollins' best also features John Coltrane, Red Garland and others in an acknowledged classic that no serious jazz collector can be without.
The LP is has lots of marks that will make noise and with much if not most of the original shine - not for the audiophile in any way - you will definitely hear noise on this one. There is a bit of writing on one label. The cover is in VG+ condition with some general age/shelf wear, clear tape on the top seam and a split starting on the spine. NO writing, NO stickers, NO stamps. Definitely NOT perfect, but how many of these do you see at any price or condition?
