Sonny Rollins, The Bridge, lp, Jazz/Bebop, 1962, lpm2527, RCA Victor. Condition is "Used". Shipped with USPS Media Mail. It is not stated on the record or album cover, but I believe the sound is not in stereo. In 1962 I was in the Army.. I joined the RCA record club. One month I thought I would skip rock n' roll and try jazz. I selected Sonny Rollins because he fit my image of a jazz player. Living in a barracks, I didn't have a record player. When I got married I was able to play Sonny's music for the first time. My wife didn't care for jazz. The record went into the closet for forty years, being moved from house to house. My circumstances changed. Living by myself it was necessary to start down sizing and I eventually found Sonny. I had loaned him out several times over the years and upon examination found some scratches. It was a hard lesson to learn. Don't loan your records to irresponsible people. I've recently listened to side one of this album. While it was enjoyable, I still prefer my Sirius XM. The cover does have some surface scuffing that you will recognize from laying records flat in a stack. I've compared this item to others being sold here on ebay. I think it is comparable. And this is the most I've said about a vinyl in a long time.
