Description

This is Prestige Records PRLP 7126, Sonny Rollins Tour De Force, a deep groove, yellow, 50th St. NYC label original mono issue of this magnificent recording with RVG stamped in the dead wax. The record is in VG condition showing marks on both sides but playing with only intermittent light background noise and no skips or distortion of the music (hence the extra(+). The glossy cover has blue paint covering the back notes, a 2" loss on the bottom of the spine and a 3" split on the open top seam. The labels show spindle marks and have a loss and name in marker on side two. The record was played on a Linn Sondek LP12 in mono mode and cleaned on a VPI 17. This is a fine initial "play" grade copy of this wonderful record. This is part of my personal collection that I will be selling (slowly) over the next few months and years.
