Description
Up for auction is Sonny Rollins - Vol. 2 on Blue Note Records, BLP 1558. While this is an original RVG / Ear pressing with the W. 63rd adress, it is the very first Mono reissue, or 2nd pressing, from 1958 with NYC in the address on labels. VINYL is in G++ condition, and does show much visible signs of play wear and scuff marks. The most noticeable hairline mark being on Side 2 track 1. I've attempted to highlight this in the photos. Plays thru without skips but has pops and background noise. SLEEVE is in VG+ condition with some light corner wear, most noticeably on the upper spine-side corner on the back of the cover. You can see some ringwear present, as well. Please see photos. Overall a VG-- copy to add to your collection as filler...until a true first press or a nicer copy comes within reach.
