One of the finest jazz albums you will ever hear.
At the time, in 1957, Sonny Rollins was America’s finest tenor sax player, so his renditions will knock you over as he plays I’M AN OLD COWHAND, WAGON WHEELS, SOLITUDE, COME GONE, THERE IS NO GREATER LOVE, and WAY OUT WEST, with a little help from none other than Shelly Manne on drums and Ray Brown on bass.
To boot, the original master tapes were re-mastered by Doug Sax, strictly through tubes in this limited edition, so that it could be said, outright…from original microphones to tape recorders to re-mastering, there was nothing but tubes passing the signal, ever.
An extraordinary, audiophile jazz-loving exercise that should not be missed, here in a cover like new, record the same.
Near mint and better in playback. A classic jazz treasure, here made even better.

Boxes over 4 lbs., add another $6, because First Class is no longer available at that weight, just Priority Mail. Note, too, boxed sets of LPs require more postage.
