Description
This is a 1st press in MONO of Way Out West by Sonny Rollins in NM- condition, stampers side 1 LKL-12-127-D1, side2 LKL-12-128-D1, the back has Sonny in red ink and his song, tech info lined in red ink, the cover is NM- perhaps the best that's ever been offered, the LP has been play graded, side1 clean thru out NM-, side2 cut 2 has a very small amount of noise, crackle during its quietest passages, but doesn't interfere with your enjoyment, I'd still rate this as EX, and the rest NM-, the last cut has such great dynamics, Ray Brown bass is tremendous, I cleaned it on my VPI, will insure this at my cost, international bidders I will not ship 1st class, but only Priority mail again with insurance at my cost, because of its rarity & quality it will have a reserve, I think this maybe the best copy available, regardless its my only 1st press , I tried get get pics of stamper #s but wasn't successful , if you want to have this one now's your chance.I had a ? about the cover and its called a Kakubushi cover, basically a crease that runs the lower portion of a 1st pressing, a frame cover was the ?, and in my ignorance I had no idea what that meant , so the last pic's are of this portion of the cover, thank you Olive.
