Though I have been selling on Ebay for years, this is my first foray into selling LP's. Long story somewhat shorter....A gentleman who has been a jazz aficionado for more than 50 years has asked me to sell his vast LP collection for him. He has been paying to keep them in a climate controlled for almost a decade, and is tired of paying to store records he no longer plays.
This will be a very SLOW process. The Owner of these LP's lives quite a distance away from me,(and is not online) and I have to mail him a list of LP's I bring home so he can say whether or not I should sell these. Yes, he wants to keep some, at least for sentimental value, since he has most of the music already on Cds. So, please keep checking back in the coming days/weeks/months as I put these records up! Also, please check out the photos below. I'm going to use larger images than most sellers, which will probably make the records look worse than in person, but at least there should be no surprises for you!
Up Next, 4 more Sonny Rollins LPs, the 2nd lp tonight is...Sonny Rollins With Modern Jazz Quartet MJQ.LP Prestige 7029 RVG Yellow Cover. LP has a few light scratches, heard just a few light pops, a better cleaning than my Parastatik Disc Preener can give should help. VG/VG+ Jacket has some issues. Front still presents nicely, just some minor wear there. Back has a few, well, not sure what you would call them, wrinkle bumps? Small spot on back where a thin layer of paper on back, perhaps from a sticker being removed. No tape on jacket yet, but 4 inch split in the bottom, in the center, and about 3 inch split at the top at the opening, and it looks a bit weak in the middle as well. G/VG Wax sleeve is weak too(put tape on 3 sides so it doesn't fall out)
