Description

This is the original deep-groove pressing of Sonny Rollins “The Sound of Sonny” on the white reel-logo labels of Riverside RLP 12-241. The playing surface has a few light, inaudible handling marks but is overall in near-new condition, with a high luster; perhaps played once or twice. The laminated cover is clean throughout; slight wear at the lower left corner; ¼” wear on the bottom seam, at the opening; the back slick has a light shelf wear and a 1” chip at the lower left corner. Personnel include Sonny Clark, Paul Chambers, and Roy Haynes. WE DO NOT ACCEPT PAYPAL. Please do not bid unless you are comfortable providing credit card information directly.
