Description

Sonny Stitt - Black Vibrations.  1971 Prestige Records PR 10032.  Vinyl is in VG+ condition.  Cover is in VG condition.
Back cover is SIGNED by jazz guitarist Melvin Sparks in silver marker in the following manner... "To Jim. All the best. Mel Sparks." 

Autograph is 100% GUARANTEED authentic as it was obtained in person at a Melvin Sparks Trio concert at The Winchester Music Hall in Cleveland in the early 2000s.
Musicians on this album were:  Sonny Stitt/Sax, Melvin Sparks/Guitar, Virgil Jones/Trumpet, Leon Spencer/Organ, Idris Muhammad/Drums.
Melvin Sparks was a session musician for Blue Note and Prestige, and backed many of the great jazz players.  Melvin also had his own career.

Sadly, Melvin Sparks died March 15, 2011.
