Description

Sonny Stitt & His Quartet - A Little Bit of Stitt 1st Press DG Mono Vinyl LP.

Vinyl (VG+) - LP has been dusted, wet-cleaned using the Spin Clean system, and play graded. Plays through with no skips and just enough noise to let you know it's a record, but not enough to distract from the music. Grading would be EX but for some superficial scuffs and marks, but they do not affect play enough to distract from the music. First pressing on blue Royal Roost label, deep-groove. 

Side A runout - LP 2235 - A (stamped) 5-21-59 (etched)

Side B runout - LP 2235 - B (stamped) 5-22-59 (etched)

Cover (G+) - Not much ring wear but the paper is torn on the front cover. Looks to be from the removal of a sticker (see photos). There is an ink stamp on the back (Inspected by 659 - see photos). There is a significant split at the top right (about 4-5 inches), otherwise the other seams are intact. 

Cover, generic white inner sleeve (presumably the original which is not in great shape), and LP will be shipped in a protective plastic sleeve. The LP will be shipped in the inner sleeve separate from the cover to prevent further splitting during shipment.
