Description

This is Verve Records MG V-8250, Sonny Stitt Only The Blues, a black, trumpet, deep groove label mono original issue of this classic record. The record is in VG++ condition showing a few light superficial marks and playing quietly throughout. The cover has a clean 2" split at the open end of the top seam and 1 label and 2 age spots on the back but is otherwise excellent and intact. The labels are excellent with light spindle marks. The record was played on a Linn Sondek LP12 in mono mode and cleaned on a VPI 17. This is an outstanding collector's grade copy of this beautiful original recording.
