Sonny Stitt & Paul Gonsalves - Salt & Pepper

(Impulse A-52 USA LP 1963)

 

This is a USA original Stereo LP pressing. It has a heavyweight, front laminated, gatefold sleeve. It comes with a period plain paper inner sleeve - this is in VG++ condition. 

The record is pressed on thick vinyl & has 1st press A-1/ B-1 matrix stampers. "Van Gelder" is machine stamped in the dead wax on both sides.

A great mid 1960's Jazz LP. A genuine U.S. first pressing on the classic "Impulse" label.

 

Gatefold Sleeve: There is some mild laminate peeling at opening of the rear sleeve. There is some mild rubbing wear to the corner tips. VG++ condition.

Vinyl: Light sleeve rubs can be seen under a strong light. There are some light to mild pressing marks too. VG+ condition. The labels are clean & show very mild spindle wear. Plays VG+ overall & Near Excellent in some places. There is some light crackle in some quieter places.

 

Grading adheres to “Record Collector” specifications. I shall use good quality packaging (proper vinyl mailers & two card dividers).

Postage for 1 LP in the UK is £4.50. You can add one extra LP for free (up to the weight of 1kg).

Postage for 1 LP in Europe is £6.65 to £7.85 (depending on weight). Add £1.25 for each additional LP up to 2kg.

Postage for 1 LP for the rest of the world is £7.75 to £11.50 (depending on weight). Add £2 for each additional LP up to 2kg.

 

Insurance is necessary if this item exceeds £20. Overseas buyers will add £5.50 extra (plus an additional £2.50 if the item value exceeds £70).
