Sonny Terry Brownie McGhee LP Where the blues begin (Fontana SFJL979) NM/EX+
On Fontana (Cat: SFJL979) 1965 UK Vinyl LP.
The record plays with no sound imperfections, as good as straight from the factory – no jumps, clicks or crackles. A perfect sound, and easily graded NEAR MINT. There were very few minor issues with the cover, so it is graded EXCELLENT PLUS. See my descriptions below.
The record labels are clean & have no writing or stickers. Looking at the spindle marks, it is possible this album has only been played a couple of times, and is as near to mint quality as it gets. Record is graded NEAR MINT.
The cover is laminated front and rear. The edges & spine are free from wear, with one exception - the open edge has very thin wear (approx. 1mm or less in three tiny areas – see photo). There is a 4mm ‘dink’ at the lower open edge, and this shows as a 2cm crease on the rear only. Overall a very clean cover, with very little wear or issues, and graded EXCELLENT PLUS.

PACKAGING: This item will be protected inside a strong thick card pro-mailer. Records are placed in a new white polythene-lined inner sleeve, and packed separately from the record company cover to avoid splitting the seam. The record(s) and cover are then placed in a pvc sleeve for extra protection.
