A Collector's Note: Lucho Macedo (1930-2017) was a pioneering Peruvian salsa musician, pianist, and arranger. His Sonora became one of Latin music's most innovative and successful orchestras, evolving from a Sonora Matancera style to incorporate dynamic instrumental solos (guits, winds). Macedo masterfully blended genres, exploring everything from guaracha and son montuno to Latin rock and Latin jazz.
