Description
Auction is for a RARE ORIGINAL GERMAN PRESSING of JOHN FIDDY & SAMMY BURDSON'S "LIFE AT THE TOP: DOCUMENTARY UNDERSCORES" LP on Sonoton Library (Cat. #SON 165). Killer release on Sonoton featuring two of the top composers on the label and featuring a wealth of tremendous stuff. The album opens with the killer acoustic guitar led funk of "Diplomatic Exchange" and ends with the great blaxploitation funk groove of "Industrial Fanfare". In addition, there's a monster uptempo jazz dancer with electric piano entitled "Union 1" and of course the break cut "Life at the Top 4" which is a full minute of hard, crisp open drums and nothing but that's just waiting to be sampled. One of my favorites on the label! Cover and vinyl are flawless!
