Description
Three original 16" transcription discs of the "Cooperative Forest Fire Prevention Campaign," a public service radio program sponsored by the State Foresters and the Forest Service. These programs were each 15 minutes long and featured forest fire prevention tips by Billy Johnson "the Singing Woodsman" and western songs by the legendary Sons of the Pioneers. The episodes on these discs are series 1, program 11 ("Ruined Sport"), program 12 ("It's Up to You"), series 2, program 5 ("Keep Trash Fires Safe"), program 6 ("Observe Brush Burning Rules"), program 9 ("Drown Your Campfires"), and program 10 ("Warm Yourself but Not the Forest").
VG+ with some light scuffing. Pressed on translucent red vinyl. A CD transcription of the discs can be provided to the winning bidder, if desired!
