Description

You are bidding upon an exceptional copy of Victor 22049, dating to 1929. It was found along with several other late 1920's Victors in similar condition, as well as unsold Columbia stock from the 1930's.

 

Rarely does one encounter a 90+ year-old record that has no marks/scratches, and hardly a sign of wear whatsoever. The sleeve that protected this record, dating to 1925/26, is worn, but certainly did its job quite well. Sleeve will be included.

Side B: Some of These Days (take 2)—July 10, 1929

 

Both were tested on a 1970’s BSR—they both play E. Minimal surface noise. Some of These Days, in particular, is vibrant.
