Description

RCA Records Living Stereo Soria Series LDS 6407, 4 disc set in deluxe slipcase. Shaded dog label discs, pressed in the US.  Stampers are 1s 1s 1s 5s 1s 1s 3s 1s.  Recorded in Vienna by Decca.

Herbert von Karajan conducts the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra in a program entitled "Vienna Philharmonic Festival". Mozart Symphony #40, Haydn Symphony #104, Beethoven, Symphony #7, Brahms, Symphony #1, and a selection of works by Johann Strauss. See pics for program details.

Discs all NM, slipcase VG++, just a bit of wear at the top.  Includes beautiful deluxe Soria booklet with pasted in plates. 

This is the earliest edition of these great recordings.  Quite a hard set to find in nice shape.  They were subsequently issued two more times in the "shaded dog" era, first as four single discs in the Soria Series, then again with different LSC numbers.
