Description
Lot of six LP's. Grading is record/cover
1) Jimmie & Vella - Heartbeat (Imperial LP-12419) VG+/VG+
Vinyl has mild superficial scuffs visible, some slight haziness but still has nice gloss - plays smoothly w/ some minor surface noise in spots. Labels are clean. Liberty inner sleeve has some mild aging but is clean & crisp (record would ship in a generic inner to keep this one nice).
Gatefold cover in shrink which was coming loose a bit at top & on back - previous owner attempted to fix w/ clear tape (see photos), tape is mostly on the plastic but on cover in a few places & top seam. I didn't attempt to peel any of it. Cover otherwise nice w/ some wear to exposed corners at opening.2) Gloria Jones - Share My Love (Motown M 790V1) VG+/VG+ Very clean record, cover in shrink w/ saw mark lower right, mild corner wear.
3) Von Ryan's Express - self-titled (MGM SE 4752) VG+/VG- Vinyl is glossy w/ some mild scuffs, cover is in shrink but is definitely a re-seal - shrink over the drill-hole & a tear across 1/2 the front cover (taped on inside); has worn corners on opening edge & a ding on the spine. Still presents pretty ok but weird somebody resealed this.
4) Maxayn - self-titled (Capricorn CPN-0103) VG+/VG a lower end VG+ as there's a slight warp, not affecting play, few mild scuffs otherwise. Gatefold cover has cut corner, surface wear (more visible on front) & mild corner wear.
5) Laura Lee - Two Sides of Laura Lee (Hot Wax HA 714) VG+/VG+ playing surface has nice gloss but slight haziness, cover has saw mark upper left, mild corner wear
6) Claudia Lennear - Phew! (Warner Bros. BS 2654) VG-/VG- playing surfacehas scuffs & hairline marks, mostly superficial though one can be felt; cover has surface wear, worn spot inside gatefold, heavier wear along spine. Does play w/ a bit of surface noise in spots. Please note: I've played all of these, all played ok with varying degrees of surface noise, nothing overwhelming that I recall.
