Description
Studio 1 CSL 8010: "Soul Vendors On Tour" from 1967. First released in the U.K. on a blue Coxsone label, this is a late 60s or early 70s Jamaican repress of the BOSS rocksteady comp featuring some of the most important singers and musicians Jamaica has produced. The instrumental tracks were recorded while the Soul Vendors were touring England in 1967, and the rest is classic rocksteady vocal cuts from the likes of The Tennors, Ken Boothe, Owen Gray and Peter Johnson. Crucial listening and a lovely addition for any collection - particularly in this wonderful condition.
Vinyl is EXCELLENT, with just a couple very light marks in the runoffs.
Audio is NEAR MINT, with just the slightest bit of background noise. No skips or jumps.
Labels are EXCELLENT++, with just a few very light spots of wear.
Sleeve is EXCELLENT, with a few spots of wear to the laminate on the front and a few light spots of wear and ringwear on the rear.
