Sounds Progressive - Kid Jensen Presents Sounds Progressive (Eyemark UK 1970)
Before Raw Material recorded their debut for Evolution, they were asked to record this compilation of progressive rock cover versions for the tiny Eyemark label. Of course, it could have been a half-hearted perfunctory effort, but this was Raw Material, so they performed with gusto and really injected some imagination and personality into these covers often surpassing the original versions. What a great band, and you also get Kid doing his DJ things between tracks adding some period charm.
Condition:
Sleeve
Sleeve is pretty good, but laminate does have some creasing particularly bottom left - VG
Vinyl
Vinyl looks VG++, but probably not the best pressing so does play with a little surface noise here and there - VG+
Postage: - only sent with tracking - £5 within the UK and £20 worldwide for any number of LPs.
Grading: - I don't use M or NM/M- for second hand records, the best grade they can get is EX.
EX - Pretty much faultless
VG++ - Very nice copy, nothing major at all, perhaps a tiny bit of surface noise.
VG+ - Very nice copy still, but will have surface marks and occasional surface noise.
VG - Will have some marks and minor scratches that will cause a little noise, but nothing very significant
VG- - Will have more significant noise, but certainly not trashed. I will describe any records graded as VG- in detail.
