Description

The last four tracks recorded by the incomparable Cyril Davies just before he died in January 1964: Country Line Special, Chicago Calling, Preachin' the Blues and Sweet Mary.  'The father of British Blues' and the only real R&B harmonica player in Britain at the time, Davies was hugely influential on younger players such as Mick Jagger, Eric Burdon and Long John Baldry.  Original pressing mono record in very good condition though some slight scuffing on the sleeve.  Record number NEP 44025.  Now very difficult to obtain.
