SOUNDS NICE - 'LOVE AT FIRST SIGHT'

1970 UK PRESSING LP

Named by Paul McCartney, Sounds Nice featured the talents of: ex- 'The Gun' member Tim Mycroft, Gus Dudgeon, Tony Hall & Grammy Award Winner, Paul Buckmaster.

It includes an interesting interpretation of The Beatles' 'Flying' and also featured top session musicians such as: Clem Clattini, Herbie Flowers, Chris Spedding along with many others.

This very hard to find prog/lounge album dates from 1970 and is on the 1-EMI box Parlophone label: PCS 7089 (one release after 'Abbey Road')

Disc weight: 149g

Housed in an early 'Hipgnosis' designed cover which was printed by 'Garrod & Lofthouse'.

Complete with an original red & white EMI advertising inner-sleeve.

A clean & unblemished pair with just a handful of light light spindle marks around each unworn centre hole.

Visual: EXCELLENT

Both playing surfaces are extremely clean and retain all of their 'as new' deep-gloss shines. Apart from some minor inner-sleeve removal blemishes the disc is entirely free from any scuffs, marks or scratches and lies 100% flat on the turntable when playing.

Play: EXCELLENT +

This great sounding album has received just a few careful plays on good equipment and the sound is clean & totally unworn throughout.

A very clean & strong example with minor storagewear but no significant fault of wear throughout.
