Description

Up for auction is this vintage vinyl LP album by Soup. There is no information on either the brown album cover or the label on the record (both are blank). There is a paper flyer that lists the songs. After doing a little research, I found a nice biography of the band on the website Allmusic. According to this, "they issued their eponymous first album privately in 1970, untitled and in a plain brown wrapper, with demo tracks on one side and a live performance on the other, simply because local fans craved a Soup record".  Disbanded in the mid-70s, Yankus passed away in 1982. I believe this album up for auction is this first album of theirs.
