Description

For auction - The South Georgia Highballers on Okeh 45155. Selections on this 1927 78RPM record include Bibb County Grind and Blue Grass Twist. The record has good shine, is VG/VG- with no chips or cracks. There is some vocal contribution to the music but it is muffled. The record plays thru on both sides without any skips but does have background static and ticks. I don't know if it would sound any better with a 78 needle (my turntable is equipped with a standard needle). Please see pics for record label condition. To be provided with the Okeh sleeve shown in the last pic. Please see my other 78RPM listings.
