Extremely rare Columbia Masterworks USA issue 7x10” Shellac 78RPM Boxed Set of the 1949 South Pacific Original Broadway Cast Recording, featuring Mary Martin and Ezio Pinza with Original Broadway Cast.  Each record appears in a brown paper inner sleeve, housed in a flip-lid box - see pics.  Condition – Box and Lid are in Very Good condition overall, with small sticker mark to front top RH corner and some wear to edges.  Inner Box, Inner Sleeves and spiral spine are in Excellent condition.  Discs are overall in Excellent condition, showing occasional light scuff on a few sides, others appear almost unplayed.  Overall for its age, this Boxed Set is in fantastic condition.

The record has been played many times but shows no significant deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks. Sleeve has normal wear and tear without any major defects.

GOOD (G)

The record has been played enough that the sound quality has deteriorated noticeably and may have pops and skips. The sleeve may suffer from scuffs, spine splits, ring wear and/or discolouration.
