Special Limited Edition of Ludwig van Beethoven's Nine Symphonies.
With Herbert von Karajan conducting the Berlin Philarmonic Orchestra
at the Berlin Philharmonic Hall for Beethoven year 1977.
Released on Deutsche Grammophon. Item No. 2721 200.
2,000 copies of this edition were prepared especially for Great Britain.
This copy bears the number 311 and the signature of Herbert von Karajan.
The nine symphoinies are on 8 discs and there is additional disk of Karajan
in conversation with Richard Osborne about the recording.
There is a 21 page booklet and a picture of Karajan which measures
60 x 30cm.
