Special AKA Gangsters vs The Selecter UK 7" Hand Stamped Sleeve 2-Tone Ska 1979. TT1/TT2
Relisted as I had so many questions before and was unable to update the listing due to getting a very early first bidder.
I have owned this since the late 1980s / early 1990s. This was bought in a second-hand record shop called Sounds Familiar in Walthamstow, by me, when I used to go there regularly between around 1985-1995. I bought mountains of records from there. I managed to get the Elvis Costello 2-Tone single on the same day. I definitely paid £4.00 each. Thats to the best of my memory date wise.
The vinyl has been played and plays through fine with the odd click or pop. I would grade at EX. Its the fade out ending. The runout has TT-1-3 and GANGSTERS etched and what looks to be OR CI on the AKA side. I know the OR is for an Orlake pressing. TT2-1 and g g on the Selecter side.
Has the name Diane written in biro on front of sleeve, which was on it when I bought it.
Condition is "Used". Dispatched with Royal Mail 2nd Class Signed For Large Letter.
