Description
This is part of a big auction of mainly Specialty Records 7" 45's. Specialty recorded many great artists in the blues, R&B & gospel genres among others. All of those will be represented. There will also be a nice selection of rare bonus listings.

Release: Lester Williams & His Band - Sweet Lovin' Daddy / Lost Gal
Format: 45 rpm 7" single
Year: 1952
Notes: White & yellow label first pressing. Early single and one of just a handful credited to Williams. Great blues/R&B tracks on both sides here. Williams was from Texas and it's evident here with slow tempos, electric guitar accents and gravelly vocals you often hear in blues from the area.
Vinyl Condition: VG+, vinyl is in great shape with hardly any wear at all. Looks very clean and sounds great with no skips/ticks/bumps, plays with hardly any background noise at all. Labels are nice with original gloss, no tearing/stickers. There is some label scuffing, but not too bad - maybe a bad factory printing. This is a nice copy overall.
Sleeve Condition: VG, the sleeve doesn't have graphics, but I believe it is original due to the notch in the top (replacement sleeves of the day weren't often shaped like this) has some light wrinkles, but no tears or splits. Nice shape overall. VG to VG+.
