Description
This is the second part of my big auction of Specialty Records 7" 45's. Specialty recorded many great artists in the blues, R&B & gospel genres among others. All of those will be represented. There will also be a selection of a few rare bonus listings from other labels.
Here's the info on this item:
Release: Lloyd Price and His Orchestra - Baby, Don't Turn Your Back On Me / Where You At?
Format: 45 rpm 7" single
Year: 1953
Notes: Yellow & black label first pressing. Price was discovered by Specialty owner Art Rupe in New Orleans and recorded several records for the label at the start of his career. The A-side here is another stellar track, big and bluesy with a great vocal. B-side is more of a danceable track, still good, but less unique.
Vinyl Condition: VG+, vinyl is in great shape with hardly any wear at all. Looks very clean and sounds great with no skips/ticks/bumps, plays with hardly any background noise at all. Labels are nice with original gloss, no tearing/stickers. Just a tiny bit of light scuffing. This is a really nice copy overall.
Sleeve Condition: VG, original company sleeve has some wrinkles, tearing to the top edge and stray pencil marks, but no tears or splits. Not perfect, but displays well enough.
I want buying from me to be a good experience for you. I also know that condition can be very subjective, so I encourage you to see pics for exact condition details and ask questions if you need additional information. As always, the item you see is the one you will get. Please see my feedback, I think that will show that I am an accurate and fair grader and make sure my customers are happy.
I will combine shipping for anyone who wins more than one item. If you do need combined shipping, please wait for an invoice before paying.
