Description
This is part of a big auction of mainly Specialty Records 7" 45's. Specialty recorded many great artists in the blues, R&B & gospel genres among others. All of those will be represented. There will also be a nice selection of rare bonus listings.
Here's the info on this item:
Release: Lloyd Price & His Band - Jimmie Lee / Walkin' the Track
Format: 45 rpm 7" single
Year: 1954
Notes: White & yellow label first pressing. Early single by Price who was one of the more prolific R&B singers of the era due to his hit first single. Jimmie Lee is a slow grinder with some great sax work. The B-side is a little more upbeat, an excellent dance track.
Vinyl Condition: VG+, vinyl is in great shape with hardly any wear at all. Looks very clean and sounds great with no skips/ticks/bumps, plays with hardly any background noise at all. Labels are nice with original gloss, with no tearing/stickers. This is a nice copy overall.
Sleeve Condition: VG, the sleeve doesn't have graphics, but I believe it is original due to the notch in the top (replacement sleeves of the day weren't often shaped like this) has some light wrinkles, but no tears or splits. Nice shape overall. VG to VG+.
I want buying from me to be a good experience for you. I also know that condition can be very subjective, so I encourage you to see pics for exact condition details and ask questions if you need additional information. As always, the item you see is the one you will get. Please see my feedback, I think that will show that I am an accurate and fair grader and make sure my customers are happy.
I will combine shipping for anyone who wins more than one item. If you do need combined shipping, please wait for an invoice before paying.
