Description
This is part of a big auction of mainly Specialty Records 7" 45's. Specialty recorded many great artists in the blues, R&B & gospel genres among others. All of those will be represented. There will also be a nice selection of rare bonus listings.

Release: Rene Hall and His Band - Frankie & Johnny / Cleo
Format: 45 rpm 7" single
Year: 1958
Notes: White & yellow label first pressing. One of just a few records released in the 1950's for Hall under his name though he did play in and arrange for a number of other bands. The A-side here is a jazzy R&B instrumental, but the B-side is almost an exotica track with unusual instrumentation and vocals. That one is very much worth hearing.
Vinyl Condition: VG+, vinyl is in great shape with hardly any wear at all. Looks very clean and sounds great with no skips/ticks/bumps, plays with hardly any background noise at all. Labels are nice with original gloss, no tearing/stickers, but it does have some very light scuffing. This is a really nice copy overall.
Sleeve Condition: VG, has some light wrinkles, but no tears or splits. A small pencil number on the back, but nice shape overall. VG to VG+.
