Description
This is part of a big auction of mainly Specialty Records 7" 45's. Specialty recorded many great artists in the blues, R&B & gospel genres among others. All of those will be represented. There will also be a nice selection of rare bonus listings.

Release: Art Neville - Arabian Love Call / What's Going On
Format: 45 rpm 7" single
Year: 1959
Notes: White label Promo first pressing. Early record by Neville who is a founding member of The Meters and one of The Neville Brothers group that had tons of hits. This record has a different sound that you are used to hearing from him. The smooth soul vocals come through, but this is much more upbeat and jaunty. Good stuff, especially the A-side.
Vinyl Condition: VG+, vinyl is in great shape with hardly any wear at all. Looks very clean and sounds great with no skips/ticks/bumps, plays with hardly any background noise at all. Labels are nice with original gloss & no tearing/stickers. There is a X on one side to denote plug side and a few small, stray marks on the other. This is a nice copy overall.
Sleeve Condition: VG, sleeve has some wear and some wrinkling. Possibly due to liquid exposure. Small pencil number on the back, but no tears.
