This is part of a big auction of mainly Specialty Records 7" 45's. Specialty recorded many great artists in the blues, R&B & gospel genres among others. All of those will be represented. There will also be a nice selection of rare bonus listings.

Release: Little Richard - By the Light of the Silvery Moon / Wonderin'

Format: 45 rpm 7" single

Year: 1959

Notes: White label promo first pressing. Two great tracks from his 3rd album for Specialty. A-side is a funky take on the oft-recorded classic.  B-side is the more interesting track in my opinion.  More of a ballad, different than most of LR's stuff and really showing off his range as a musician.

Vinyl Condition: VG+, vinyl is in great shape with hardly any wear at all. Looks very clean and sounds great with no skips/ticks/bumps, plays with hardly any background noise at all.  Labels are nice with original gloss, no tearing/stickers. There is some very light scuffing in a couple of spots. This is a nice copy overall.

Sleeve Condition: VG, has some light wrinkles, but no splits. A small pencil number on the back, but nice shape overall. One small tear near the lower right.
