Comments on our grading methods and sales practices

We do our best to accurately describe the condition of our records and record sleeves.
We attempt to grade each record as conservatively as possible without misrepresenting actual condition.
We make every effort to adhere to the grading system outlined below.

That said we are humans and may miss something. Also it is a given that one man's light scratch will be another mans deep gouge.
So.......
If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase we will refund your money.

Please see our Customer Satisfaction & Return policy below.

Record grading is visual only, we do not play or clean records before shipping. Each LP is examined under a bright light for imperfections.

  • Comments:
PLEASE READ BEFORE PURCHASE: These are players not high quality. These records are playable copies but are not up to my higher standards for listing individual records as regards the amount of or severity of imperfections. Most of these records will be VG-. Occasionally one will be closer to G+ but that will be rare. All types of imperfections can be present. There will normally be several marks & they can be present on 25% to 100% of the record. This can include scratches. If there are scratches none will be feel-able. You should expect some background noise during quiet passages. Records should be cleaned. NOTE: Record does not have a large amount of surface marks, hairline scratches or scuffs but does have enough to warrent a VG- grade. ***** PLEASE SEE PLAYTEST NOTES BELOW ****
  • Sleeves will be mostly VG with some lesser and some a bit better. This is a generic description and not meant to describe the exact condition of the records in this particular listing. I guarantee your satisfaction or your money back. All I ask is you assume VG- quality. If you have any questions or want a play test of a particular record I'll be happy to do that on request. NOTE: Sleeve has a full length seem split on the spine which spills over into the top edge for 3 inches or so, (see last 2 pics).

    **** PLAYTEST NOTES ****
Playtest revealed mostly light crackeling throughout with some medium level crackeling on a portion of one side of the LP. The crackeling while present was not overerly noticable one side of the LP. At most it became apparent during quiet passages and even then was mild enough to not be an issue. The 2nd side had more pronunced crackeling that split between light and nedium crackeling. When medium, (maybe 1/2 the time), it was noticable even when passages were not quiet. There were some medium grade pops that showed up during one of the tracks as well. While the 2nd side was not as good as side one the distraction level was not severe IMO. I was distracted at times but most of the time it was tolerable. A decent listening experience IMO.
