Description
Spivey LP-1039, “The Art of Nat Riddles” with Nat Riddles, Andy Story and Charlie Hilbert, from the early 1980s. Nat Riddles, vocals and harmonica, and backup. There is one tribute track by Victoria Spivey from 1965. The vinyl plays at NM with virtually no background sound. The jacket is about like new and in the original shrink wrap. Songs include “Let’s Send Lenny to the Store Blues”, “Eyesight to the Blind”, “Mellow Down Easy”, “What Kind of Place Can Richmond Be?”, “I’m About to Lose My Mind”. Of all the Spivey LPs, this one raises the quality of live blues to the very top! The 17-minute “Richmond” track gives and keeps giving. Shipping is $4.00 media mail, $8.00 priority mail within the continental U.S.; $18.00 regular airmail to the U.K., Europe, Japan, Korea, Australia, and New Zealand. Additional LPs in a single package are $1.00 extra within U.S. and Canada, $2.00 elsewhere. For overseas shipments, registered mail is strongly recommended at $13.00 extra. Many old records are practically antiques and should be treated that way. This LP will be packaged with the record inside an inner sleeve but outside the jacket; both are placed inside a sealed outer sleeve and shipped inside a special oversized handcrafted mailer with padding on all sides. It is designed thick enough not to be bent in transit and strong enough to withstand a drop from a second-story window. More than two LPs together may be mailed inside a heavy Bags Unlimited pizza-style box. Your LP should arrive in the same condition as on the day it was shipped. All used LPs are play-graded on a VPI turntable with Audioquest tonearm and Grado cartridge. I am also offering an original 1960 concert poster this week.
