Description

Spongetones - Beat Music  - white label promo - US 1982 Ripete Records LP.

Vinyl is VG+ with a few sleeve scuffs. Very clean copy. 

Cover is plain white with "Spongetones" written on it and minor discoloration evenly distributed overall. They call that a "nice patina" on Antiques Roadshow! Price sticker residue top right. Nice corners, edges, and spine. No seam splits.

Beat Music, The Spongetones debut album, features some of their finest music, drawing heavily on The Beatles, Dave Clark Five, and Hollies without shame. And while this is certainly derivative stuff, rarely is a nostalgia trip so well executed and enjoyable.
