DESCRIPTION: Spooky Tooth - Spooky Two LP. Very rough textured Pink i Labels. Early UK pressing- Matrix numbers ending A/B. Classic Heavyweight Pink i 153gm vinyl. Gatefold sleeve . Think this is the correct original white poly lined inner too with UK patent No. 1,072,844. LABEL AND CATALOGUE NUMBER: Island ILPS 9098 YEAR OF RELEASE: 1969 COUNTRY OF RELEASE: UK CONDITION (VINYL/COVER): VG+/VG+. Vinyl is clean with a decent sheen and some faint light hairlines. Played passages of this today on my Pro-ject deck. Sits flat on the turntable. Sounds near EX. Music is clear and loud, a little background sound between tracks. This is an awesome LP, in my opinion their best ever. Strong from start to finish . Cover retains great shape, is firm and pretty much square. It has only light edgewear, cornerwear and light creasing. Inside of gatefold is cleanest I have had. Clean rough textured labels. White inner is in nice condition, quite clean and crisp. No writing, rips, stickers or sticker tears. This was my own copy for many years until a recent orange/black eye upgrade. Grading system: I use UK’s “Record Collector” Grading System but please note that GRADINGS ARE VISUAL ONLY UNLESS STATED. You are likely to get some background noise , even if its just between the tracks on 30-40 year old vinyl records!! :: MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface mark or deterioration in the sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in the sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing. VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover, or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable. GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound has noticably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding,scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration etc. I will at times use a + or - to indicate when a record falls between the grades. I REMOVE ALL VINYL FROM SLEEVES PRIOR TO POSTING. RECORDS ARE SENT IN BEST QUALITY MAILERS WITH 2 STIFFENERS.
