Description
It's is quite a feat to produce an album like this as a debut, but these guys deliver the goods. The music is reminiscent of Traffic, with soaring, soulful vox and great guitars and keyboards. The musical style, although you can continuously recognize their signature, spans R&B, wistful psych, pop psych, heavy rock and even a spattering of sympho. This 1st album is definitely a showcase of what they were capable of. The vinyl is a visual NM/M-, even under critical phosphorescent light - no markings. There is a little bit of mild surface noise for a few revs on the opening tracks on both sides. I don't find it bothersome. Perhaps it needs a couple of radical cleans on these tracks to eliminate this. Some folks just never learn how to handle vinyl. The labels are MINT on both sides, with the exception of a couple of very shallow spindle marks on side B. There is no spindle wear. The cover is laminated on both sides and a strong EX.
