STACK O’ NORTHERN SOUL 45s!

DESCRIPTION

This is another outstanding collection of Northern Soul 45s. There are nine Northern Soul records and a tenth one is a great Motown disk by Eddie Holland! This is a marvelous selection for collectors who have just begun collecting Northern Soul, or for those who have obtained all the rare records but ignored getting the records that were a little easier to find (although there are a two or three of these that are scarce as heck--i.e., the Betty Adams disk on the Notes of Gold label or Emanuel Lasky’s disk!). These are not junk records, but range from VG+ to M- condition, and they all play great. I have included an eleventh record in this auction, but am not listing it in the list below. It is by Mary Wells on Atco 6392, “Dear Lover,” and is an incredible N.S. record. Hope this great disk gives you an added incentive to bid on this brilliant group of songs.

There are a few abbreviations: “n.a.p.” means does not affect the play; “ol” means on label; “dh” means drill hole; “sol” means sticker or tag on label; “wol” means writing on label; and “lt. scfs.” means light scuffs on wax. As you can see, this is a fantastic variety of songs--some have great Northern Soul songs on both sides; others have beautiful ballads on the flip sides. This is a real bargain for all soul collectors. I have scanned all the records, but they only partially show up as you can see. All records look absolutely great!
