Description
This wonderful and exciting session lives up to and exceeds all expectations. With Ray Brown on Bass, Herb Ellis on guitar...a true classic; and this 1st Verve deep grooved label pressing puts you right in the middle of it all......superb audio.
Condition of Lp Jacket: VG(+) ....all around wear with a (easily repairable) 4" seam split at the top right....still a solid and acceptable cover.
Condition of Record: Excellent(-) .....visually there is very little to fault....lovely gloss to both sides. For the first 15 seconds to both sides there is more noticeable surface noise. From then on the audio is truly remarkable for a 58 year old pressing. There is some background noise to this vintage Mono recording but it is acceptable and does not detract from the music. If you're looking for the best possible analog version of this album....here it is.
