Description

Red label with silver text, deep groove, mono, original. Leader, Stan Levey, drums; Conte Candoli, trumpet; Richie Kamuca, tenor sax; Frank Rosolino, trombone; Sonny Clark, piano; Leroy Vinnegar, bass. 8 tracks. Recorded in Hollywood, in 1956.

Cover:  Mint(-)  Intact and clean. Front cover has minor wear from ordinary handling. Minor aging on the back cover. Close to new in appearance.

Record: VG++ to Mint(-)   Visually shows no wear. Played only a few times with care. 2 faint rub marks on each side. These are barely visible and do not affect the sound. Fine appearance. Side A has 1 faint click on 3  tracks that are all barely audible. On Side B, Track 1 has 2 clicks about mid Track. Track 2 has 3 or 4 clicks near the beginning of the Track, 1 faint click close to mid Track. 2 or 3 very light clicks towards the end of the Track followed by 4 or 5 more audible clicks and slight groove noise on the last 2 or 3 revolutions. Track 3, 4 or 5 very light clicks at the beginning 2 or 3 revolutions, several light clicks during the tenor sax solo and 1 click during the trombone solo. Track 4 has 2 clicks during the tenor sax solo. Fine condition with only the slight, limited noise described. Close to Mint(-) in condition. Audibly checked.
