Description

A super rare copy of Stan Tracey Quartet - Jazz Suite inspired by Dylan Thomas's Under Milk Wood. Released in 1969 on the highly collectable and sonically superb Columbia Lansdowne Series label. This is a stereo edition SCX 3589.
An absolute top copy in wonderful condition - in our opinion, worth the admission price for the glorious Starless and Bible Black alone!
Degritter cleaned, the vinyl is spotlessly clean with a deep lustrous sheen, and one barely visible mark on Side 2. The vinyl sits flat with clean labels and spindle holes - this has had very little play. Graded EX but very close to NM.
Playback reveals the dynamic, clean & pure sound quality that Columbia Lansdownes are renowned for. Exquisitely detailed,  spacious and enchanting. A wonderful pressing. The vinyl plays through beautifully with no issues.
The flipback laminate outer sleeve is in similar superb condition - smooth, shiny & crisp. A few very light creases and handling marks to the rear but otherwise very clean and solid - no writing, splits, stains, tape or tears.
The original printed EMI inner sleeve is present, however, we have decanted the record into a new poly lined inner to keep it pristine after cleaning - you will receive both.

An extremely rare opportunity for a collector to own an original copy of this wonderful album.

 The record will be sent separated out in an archival outer sleeve to prevent transit splits.
