"Stand Back! Here Comes Charley Musselwhite's South Side Band" (1967), Vanguard ?– VRS-9232 Mono Vinyl LP (Hole punch on the jacket). I purchased this album used in the early/mid 1970's, lightly played. I have recently cleaned it and tested all tracks on both sides, plays fine (there is a scratch on side 2 which did not affect the playback on my system). There is ring wear on the front, shelf wear on the corners/edges (especially the bottom edge, please see photos). is written in ink on the back cover (Side One Track 5 "Help Me"). There are no ink markings on the inner sleeve or the labels (the side 1 label has a small stain).
The LP is in a new anti-static clear sleeve placed on the outside of the album cover in a clear 3 Mil outer sleeve with a cardboard stiffener (200 lb. corrugation) and packaged in a 12" LP shipping mailer (made from 200 lb. test corrugated cardboard with 32 lb. ECT (edge crush test).
I was fortunate to see Charley Musselwhite perform live at the Portland State University Ballroom in the early 1970’s and again in 2000 at a Portland Zoo outdoor concert.
