Standells - Dirty Water NM/NM Garage/Psych LP Original Stereo

Welcome back to Psych & Pstuff for another round of Exc condition super rare LPs. Also I am sorry for the short hiatus. I will be posting today through Thursday. Now that the Holidays are fast approaching I know we are all looking for just the right LP for the music collectors among our family and friends. Today and tomorrow I will be concentrating on Garage and Psych which are closely related. All records listed will be in EX and NM condition.

My grading is listed as LP/Cover.

The Standells were early punk and Garage. They had a huge hit with Dirty Water. In fact that was their biggest song. Dirty Water and two other songs were written by the band's producer Ed Cobb who also produced the Chocolate Watchband. Like most garage LPs it has some covers as well like Hey Joe, Medication and 19th Nervous Breakdown. The entire album is very cool with a great photo on the front cover. Though the LP shows a few hairlines and some spindle marks it plays with nearly no noise, certainly in the realm of a NM LP. As I mentioned there are some spindle marks on the labels but no writing, stickers, etc... The cover is super clean showing only the most minor wear. There are no splits, the spine is perfect and has no writing, cut out marks , etc... The white background of the back cover shows no stains or marks of any kind. It's a very cool piece, worthy of being in anyone's collection. I of course have another copy which I play. Please check out the rest of my listings this week which will end tonight.  These LPs are guaranteed to be all original. I will also guarantee that all items will arrive before Christmas in the US as long as payment is made within 3 days after auction closes. . Even if I have to upgrade shipping myself to priority service. But still there is plenty of time.

There may be a few ticks or static between songs but still a very nice listen. The cover may also show a bit more wear or have a small seam opening, but still looks nice and clean. Since record grading is so subjectible to the sellers opinion, I wanted to give you my VG+ grading and what goes into calling it VG+. Thank you.

My grading system is M(only used on sealed LPs), NM, EX, VG+, VG, VG- and Good. LPs rated good will only be sold if they are very rare. I have been collecting and grading LPs for nearly 5 decades. I was a seller of guitars for many years on Ebay and now decided to put some of my LP collection up for sale. I have many Psych, Hard Rock, Blues, Jazz, Prog and more from the 1960s and 1970s. Many are still sealed. I will offer auction style and Buy It Now listings.

Shipping - I will ship media mail to anywhere in the US for $5.00 I will also offer Priority shipping for $12.00. I ship in LP mailers with the LPs outside of the sleeve to avoid seam splits. Sealed LPs will not be opened. I will also ship to Europe and Japan via USPS international First Class mail for $25 for the first LP. I will combine shipping. I will ship within 3 business days of receiving cleared payment.
