Description

A remarkable find and a treasure of American music. The Stanley Brothers and the Clinch Mountain Boys on Mercury Mg 20349 in mono from 1958. Cuts are Orange Blossom Special, Who Will Call You Sweetheart, A Voice from on High, Big tilda, Angel Band, Clinch Mountain Blues, The Flood, Poison Lies, You're Still On My Mind, The Cry from the Cross, Tragic Love and Fling Ding. 

A beautiful high gloss jacket with a small one split at top middle and bottom middle. Practically flawless deep black glossy playing surface with very light periodic pops and very spirited performances. Great high lonesome sound, great acoustics. This is a truly great find. Plays perfectly. I think this could easily be listed as EX in condition, but I tend to rate conservatively. You should be very pleased with this item.
