Description
A must have for any Star Wars fan!
The original soundtrack to Star Wars (1977) in almost immaculate condition. This first pressing contains 2 LPs that when held to the light change from black to red (this is only with the original pressings, later copies did not do this), along with the rare giant poster.
The condition is as follows:
Gatefold Sleeve – Ex+ ( The cover has a great shine to it, the spine is almost pristine with only the slightest of shelving wear to the bottom and a tiny crease in the corner. You can see from the photos that this is probably one of the best condition sleeves out there to buy).
Inner sleeves – N/Mint& N/Mint (Original Inners with no creases or splits)
Vinyls – N/Mint & N/Mint (Amazing condition with no marks or wear. Its looks as if it has never been played. I would grade as mint but as this is not brand new it cannot be considered mint. The matrix info is A1/B1/C2/D1).
Poster – N/Mint (Attack of the Death Star artwork by John Berkey; 84cm x 56cm. Once again would grade as mint however this is not brand new and only ever grade as mint if it is brand new)
In caparison to other sellers of this soundtrack in this similar condition, I am letting this go for a bargain price as I want it to go to a true fan of Star Wars. The poster on its own is a rarity and fetches a tidy sum! Also reasonable best offers will always be considered.

Official Soundtrack of the Original Edition of the film "Star Wars"
Has distinction of being the only "Star Wars" OST to be distributed by the film distributor's own record label - 20th (Century) Fox (Records). Later two film's sequels' soundtracks were distributed by RSO, as 20th Century Records fell into financial difficulties, and was finally liquidated in 1981 (with its musical catalogue being sold to PolyGram).
