John Williams scored Return Of The Jedi in 1983 with the London Symphony Orchestra, and the grand-slamming OST (a top contender for the best-known soundtrack of all time) now comes remastered. Track by track, the action of the film is recalled like a flood of sci-fi memory released in waves; a classic main title reintroduces the saga as the Rebel plan takes shape, before 'Into The Trap' shadows the Endor ambush closing in, and 'Luke & Leia' softens the pace, underscoring their sibling reveal. 'Parade Of The Ewoks' and 'Han Solo Returns (At The Court Of Jabba The Hutt)' move from from alliance to Tatooine rescue, and 'Lapti Nek' plays diegetic inside Jabba's palace. Among the best curios is 'Ewok Celebration & Finale', sealing the Empire's fall and communal release; long central to film composition across Hollywood, Williams nailed the finale in sound alone, balancing blockbuster spectacle and expressionistic complexity.
